New CDC Definity of 'Close Contact" to a Case of COVID-19
On October 21, 2020, the CDC updated their definition of close contact to include anyone who has been within 6 feet of a COVID-19 case for a cumulative of 15 or more minutes within a 24-hour period. This updated definition means that it is even more important to social distance and wear a face covering to lower the risk of virus transmission.
