Sex Offender Information
The Edgecombe County Sheriff’s Office registers sex offenders and maintains information on where they reside. The Sex Offender unit consists of a detective, who visits, and investigates sex offenders who reside in Edgecombe County.
Two detectives are now assigned to the North Caroline Internet Crimes Against Children (ICAC) Taskforce. These detectives investigate sex offenses perpetrated against children by means of electronic communication.
